Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the SnapTire website and the mobile automotive services provided by SnapTire (“SnapTire”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing our website, booking services, or allowing SnapTire to perform services on your vehicle, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Provided:

SnapTire provides mobile tire and related automotive services, including but not limited to: Tire change (on-rim), Tire mounting and balancing (off-rim), Tire repair (where safely repairable), Tire rotation, Seasonal tire storage, Jump-starting, Roadside tire assistance. Additional services are offered from time to time.
All services are performed at the customer’s chosen location, subject to safety, accessibility, and weather conditions.


2. Service Area

SnapTire currently operates within York Region. We reserve the right to decline or reschedule service outside our standard service area or where access is limited.

3. Booking & Scheduling

Appointments must be booked online, by phone, or through an approved booking platform. Appointment times are estimated arrival windows, not guaranteed arrival times. Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, emergency jobs, or unforeseen circumstances.SnapTire reserves the right to reschedule appointments for safety or operational reasons.

4. Customer Responsibilities

By booking a service, you confirm that:
You are the legal owner of the vehicle or authorized to approve the service.
The vehicle is parked in a safe, legal, and accessible location.
There is sufficient space for our technician and equipment.
Any locking wheel nuts, specialty keys, or vehicle-specific tools are available.
You disclose relevant vehicle conditions (aftermarket parts, low-profile tires, damaged rims, TPMS issues, etc.).
Failure to meet these requirements may result in service refusal or additional charges.


5. Safety & Right to Refuse Service

SnapTire reserves the right to refuse or stop service if:
The working environment is unsafe, or weather conditions pose a risk, or the vehicle's condition makes service unsafe. The customer is abusive or threatening. The vehicle is illegally parked or obstructed. In such cases, a service call fee may still apply.


6. Pricing & Payment

All prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) unless stated otherwise. Prices may vary based on vehicle type, tire size, condition, or additional labour required. Payment is due upon completion of service, unless prepaid.
Accepted payment methods include credit/debit cards, e-transfer, or online payment platforms.
SnapTire reserves the right to charge deposits for certain services.


7. Cancellations & No-Shows

Cancellations or rescheduling require at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a cancellation fee. Emergency exceptions may be considered at SnapTire’s discretion.

Tire Repair Disclaimer
 

Tire repairs are performed only when deemed safe and compliant with industry standards. Certain punctures (sidewall damage, excessive wear, structural damage) cannot be repaired.
SnapTire is not responsible for tire failure caused by pre-existing damage, improper prior repairs, or manufacturer defects.


9. Vehicle Condition & Damage Limitation

SnapTire is not responsible for: Pre-existing damage to wheels, tires, sensors, or suspension components.
Damage caused by rusted, seized, or previously overtightened components. Cosmetic damage resulting from unavoidable service conditions.
Our liability, if any, is limited to the direct cost of the service performed.


10. Weather & Seasonal Conditions

Service availability may be affected by: Snow, ice, extreme cold or heat, Heavy rain or storms. SnapTire reserves the right to reschedule services due to unsafe weather conditions.

11. Roadside Services

Roadside services are provided on a best-effort basis and depend on location, safety, and accessibility. SnapTire does not guarantee the resolution of all roadside issues.

12. Warranties

SnapTire provides a limited workmanship warranty on services performed. No warranty is provided on customer-supplied parts unless stated otherwise. Tire manufacturer warranties remain the responsibility of the manufacturer.

13. Limitation of Liability

 

To the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law, SnapTire shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
SnapTire’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service.


14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SnapTire harmless from claims arising from: Misrepresentation of vehicle condition, Unsafe service locations, Unauthorized service approvals, Third-party interference during service

15. Website Use

All website content, branding, logos, and materials are the property of SnapTire and may not be reproduced without permission.

16. Privacy

Use of our website and services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and protect your personal information in accordance with Canadian privacy laws (PIPEDA).

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.

18. Changes to Terms

SnapTire reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
